Vivitsu is an online e-commerce educational platform which provides innovative educational and knowledge centric services. We provide institutions, teachers and educators a platform to upload their study material and e-learning videos which can be purchased by students either chapter wise or as a whole, hence allowing students the option to customize to their preferences.

What kind of study resources does Vivitsu offer?

We provide you study material from the best educators who specialize and are experts in different fields.

How can I edit my account details?

You can edit your account details by visiting your account at thevivitsu.com and select the required fields you wish to update.

Why is my account blocked?

An account is blocked in case of Terms & Conditions violation. Kindly refer the terms and conditions for further details.

What all information and documents I need for creating my educator or student account?

For creating your account, you are required to fill all the mandatory details along with bank account details in the profile page.

How can I delete my account?

You cannot permanently delete your account. However, you can deactivate your account. In which case all your personal details and in case you are an educator then even your uploaded content and any other activity will be removed from the website until you login into your account and reactivate your account. However, the notes already sold before deactivation shall be saved in the student’s profile as it is.

Can I create multiple accounts?

No, you are not allowed to create multiple accounts. If we suspect that you have multiple accounts, we will terminate all your accounts on Vivitsu and block you from registering with us again.

Can two users use same bank account information at Vivitsu?

Every user is required to have a different bank account number for carrying out buying or selling activity on Vivitsu.

Who all can give feedback ?

Only the student who has purchased the notes can give feedback on the notes uploaded by a particular educator.

Why is my account blocked?

An account is blocked in case of Terms & Conditions violation. Kindly refer the terms and conditions for further details.

How can I change my login e-mail?

Go to your profile settings, change the e-mail ID and click on save the changes.

How do I change my password?

Go to profile settings and click on change password.

Who is eligible to create an educator account?

Educators can be individual teachers, instructors, professors and authors. They can also be institutions , classes or publication houses.

I cannot login to my account ? What can I do?

If you aren’t able to log in, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot: If the account email or password is incorrect, an error message will pop up. Please make sure that information is correct to the best of your knowledge. If the information is correct and you click the login button only to be redirected back to the login page, please either clear out your browser’s cache and cookies, or try using a different browser. The best way to test this is using a Private/Incognito window, as this will not use any previously saved information to log in.

How do I upload my notes on Vivitsu?

You can upload your notes by registering on Vivitsu. You can upload content in many different formats on our website.

What type of content/notes can I upload ?

Professionals and Educators can also upload study materials within the relevant courses. Refer to the “Terms of Use”for understanding the kind of content you can upload.

What if the seller does not reply to the claim within the permissible time?

If the educator does not reply to claim within the given time, the money is returned back to the buyer. The seller’s penalty of not replying to the complaint within the specified time results in blocking of the seller’s Vivitsu account till the time the issue is resolved. (Refund)

How can I delete my account?

Yes, you are required to add the study material description to the uploaded content. It allows the students to have clarity about what they can expect from your content before they buy it. You can also add tags to your description. This would help refine the search.

How do I price my uploaded content ?

The price set is as per the Educator’s discretion. But the following factors like length, clarity, of materials, comprehensiveness, single or multiple topics, chapter-wise notes, group of chapters on a particular topic, the importance and demand of topic, etc. will determine the price of your content. Pick a price that you would be willing to pay for the same quality of content. Also make sure that you price your content most economically favorable way to attract multiple transactions.

How can I have multiple sales of my uploaded content?

Once you upload your content on our website, your notes become accessible to users all over India for purchase. Based upon the demand, quality, pricing, etc. your content might be purchased by multiple buyers. Depending on your popularity, your notes will be shown in top of search options which will further enable your sales numbers.

Can I edit or delete the content once uploaded?

You cannot edit the content once uploaded. However, you can edit the description or change the price if you wish to. In case you want to update the content, then it will have to be reuploaded. You will have to place a request with the admin in order to take down the content.

Is my uploaded content safe with Vivitsu?

Yes, your uploaded content would be safe with Vivitsu to the extent that students cannot download the content but save it to be viewed through their login ID on our website. Also, purchased cannot be resold on the website.

Is my uploaded content safe with Vivitsu?

Should I upload my content for free?

Content uploaded for free will attract many users instantly who eventually may become potential buyers, when you finally decide to put it up for sale making you a preferred educator. A preferred educator is a educator whose notes are purchased the maximum number of times in a particular content category.

Can I upload the notes in other languages apart from English?

Yes, you can upload the notes in any language.

Can I upload notes of other Educators?

No, you cannot upload the notes of other sellers.

Can I upload book or page of a book?

Any content that violates the copyright of the original author must not be uploaded.

What’s the maximum file size I can upload?

The maximum file size for one single upload is 25 MB. In case your content exceeds 25 MB, then you can split it into two or more parts and categorise them according to topic, chapters and so on.

If I deactivate my account, are my documents automatically deactivated ?

When an account is deactivated, the documents you have already uploaded are not removed. You will have to place a request with the admin in order to take down the content.

What is the applicable formats to upload notes ?

The best format for uploading to Vivitsu is PDF. PDF documents allow the formatting of your document to remain how you arranged it, no matter what device or program they are viewed on. This is especially important if you use formulas, symbols, or accented characters in your materials. While we strongly recommend PDF format, these are all the file types accepted by Vivitsu: .pdf, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .tiff, .tif, .doc, .docx

Can I preview the content before purchasing?

Yes, you can partially view the content before purchasing. Vivitsu provides a preview feature that allows the buyer to view three pages of the content if it is more than 5 pages before purchasing it. If it is less than 5 pages In case the content is a maximum of 3 pages, then only a preview of one page is available. In case of one page content no preview option is available. ( more than 10 then 3 pages, less than 10 then only 1 page)

What all information is provided in product description?

The product description should be easy to understand and should provide a concise summary about what all topics or subjects are covered in the uploaded content. It helps the students analyze the appropriateness of the content based on their requirements before they purchase it. It also shows details regarding who submitted the notes and what is the price of the notes, how many other user already viewed that product. How can I purchase the notes?

You can purchase the notes by adding it to your study shopping cart and then checking out. You can even add and save/store notes in your shopping cart for future purchase.

How do I access my purchased notes?

Your purchased notes are saved in your profile under the “Purchased Notes” section. You can view them anytime through the website when you are logged in.

Does Vivitsu have free notes?

Yes, Vivitsu provides the option of providing notes for free.

How do I know the notes uploaded are of good quality?

We at Vivitsu anallyze the content of the notes and check its creditability. Vivitsu also provides a system that allows the students to share their feedback about the uploaded notes which will be visible to everyone. We leave it to the judgment of the prospective buyers to refer to the feedback thus provided.

Am I entitled to any refunds if the content I purchased was not appropriate?

At Vivitsu we do not allow refunds this is because we provide a preview option to students. In case the content is against the T&C then kindly contact us at info@thevivitsu.com.

What if I don’t find the notes I am looking for?

In case you do not find the notes you are looking for then you can place a comment through the Ask Tab which lets the Educator’s know what students are looking for.

How many notes can I buy in one go?

You can buy as many notes as you wish to buy in one go. Add to cart and proceed to checkout.

Can I cancel my order?

As soon as you purchase any content, Vivitsu instantly delivers that content into your personal account on the website. Therefore, order once placed cannot be canceled. You can preview the content before purchase to help you make the right decision. Please refer to the Terms of Use before making any purchase.

How can I access the notes I purchased?

The content/notes you purchase are stored under the ‘Purchased Notes’ section of your account. You can view the purchased notes anytime through the your login ID on the website.

Can I download the content I purchase? If No, why?

VIvitsu does not provide the facility to download or copy the content purchased. Copyright of the purchased content by the student rests with the educator. The student has the privacy and right to use the content/notes purchased exclusively for personal use for reference purpose and not for further selling. Selling study notes this way violates our Terms of Use, which can result in disabling of your account permanently and may also lead to legal actions being taken against the student by the Educator.

How can the payment be made by the student?

I bought a document, but I cannot see it in my downloads. What do I do now?

Educators:

When does the educator receive the payment ?

You can purchase the notes by adding it to your study shopping cart and then checking out. You can even add and save/store notes in your shopping cart for future purchase.

How Is the payment transferred to the Educator ?

Payment is transferred to the Educator’s Payment Gateway Account or Bank Account as per the option chosen by the Educator.

Does Vivitsu get commission for the sales made?

Yes, Vivitsu gets commission depending on the Commission Table mentioned in the terms & conditions.

How do I report infringement?

All infringement complaints must be reported through the Feedback Form which provides a Complaint Tab. You can also use the ‘Report’ button to file a complaint with us.

What if the educator does not reply to the claim within the permissible time?

If the Educator does not reply to claim within the given time, the money is returned back to the student. The educator’s penalty of not replying to the complaint within the specified time results in blocking of the educator’s Vivitsu account till the time the issue is resolved.

What if someone raises an infringement complaint on my uploaded content?

Students can raise infringement complaints on the content they purchased. Claims can be made on Copyright Infringement or legibility of the uploaded content.

What if someone unjustly accuses me of infringement?

In such a case, we advise you to inform us by email at info@thevivitsu.com that contains the details of the name of the person/group registered on Vivitsu who filed the complaint and the reasons and details of the infringed content.
